-1- The Book Wheel is actually pretty fascinating to me because it combines not just books reviews, but also a lot of other miscellaneous content: author events, blogging content, sponsored and guest posts, thoughts in the news, and of course one of my favorite topics, politics. It's definitely a good stop for book and a little more.
-2- Books Speak Volumes first and foremost appealed to me because the top of her site has a Sylvia Plath quote, probably one of my favorite all time writers. Also, though, as you come to realize, her website is very simply stylized. Easy on the eyes. Quickly attractive in the review style. And plenty of content to go through, at the top menus as well as all around. Plus she's hosting the Jazz Age January event! An event where you get to read Heminghway and Fitzgerald??!? Cannot pass that up. Two of my favorite authors.
-3- Parajunkee's View has to be by far one of the most prominent book blogs in bringing people together. I was featured on this blog for the Feature Follow Fridays that Parajunkee hosts. Parajukee is more than just inspiring, but a pivotal force in the book blogosphere. I'm really thankful I've come to learn about this blog. I'm always learning something new every time I step into the Parajunkee world.
-4- The Broke and the Bookish, yet another blog I found myself unable to stop visiting year after year. I love the Top Ten Tuesday that she holds. It brings all kinds of bloggers together and we all get to see our quarky perspectives on all types of topics about books. I love it!
-5- Pure Imagination. As far as YA book blogs go, this is definitely one of the ones I appreciate and frequently visit to see what's happening around the YA block. I love the blog roll. I love all the links available. I love the overall tone of the blog. If you like to read YA, this definitely a blog worth browsing for a good read.
-6- Bewitched Bookworms is a blog with true character. I stumbled on this blog by accident, and it instantly put a smile on my face. Besides the fact that they read and review really great books like The Shinning Girls, one of their more recent review, they also have a Sunday Meme: Super Six Sunday.
I also love the layout and the style of this blog. It's very well done, and well put together. It was so pleasant to browse it.
-8- Pretty Deadly Reviews is actually a very clean, cut-to-the-reviews kind of blog. I was pleasantly surprised by the focus on just reviews. One of the best out there.
-9- Pen and Muse Press. Oh this is an all stop shop on all things about blogging, writing, and even tips about socializing in the blogosphere.
-10- Everyday I Write The Book is absolutely one of those blogs you have to visit if you're wondering about a review for a book you've seen or hear of. This book blog has reviews on all your most encountered books, and then some new ones. Highly recommended for 2014 for you if you want to catch up on some good reading options from 2013.
What book blog/blogger should we know about in 2014?
