It's sad to say, indeed, that I rarely read before becoming a actual blogger. I did more of collecting books than reading them. I bought at least one book a week, and my bookshelves were overfilled with books I had accumulated during my time before I was a blogger. But the time before I was a blogger is lenghty - including the time from childhood - so if I really think back on it there are some books I read. My best memory of those books are from one post I entered last year, Books That made me Love Reading.
1.20, 000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne
2. Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne
3. The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling
4. Black Beauty by Anna Sewell
5. Charlotte's Web by E. B. White
6. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
7.The Bell Jar by Sylvia Path
8.Le Pettit Prince by Antoine Saint Exupery
9.A Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce
GoneBookserk has come about from an addiction to books & a thirsty appetite for literary reflections. This site is mostly reviews of books I enjoy reading, at times it's even about those that I may enjoy less. I am not as active in reviewing books as I have been in the past since I am pursuing my own writing, but I will be reviewing books, I will try to answer emails back as I can, and please feel free to contact me about anything. Enjoy!
"No matter how busy you may think you are, you must find time for reading, or surrender yourself to self-chosen ignorance." -Confucius
