I finally gave this ARC a go. I have been meaning to read this book for so long now... I finally decided to start reading it. It's a good book, I just found myself skimming a lot through it. Even so, I still enjoyed it.
For a plot that involves two sisters who have lost their mother and mermaids, it's a pretty good read. It's probably even a little bit underestimated, it seems. I didn't think it would grab me and entertain me as much as it did. As far as mermaid stories go, I'll put this one on the list of recommendations for others. Amanda Hocking definitely has her own style.
