Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss
It's time for another Dr. Seuss book. It's been a little while since the previous post, FOX IN SOCKS. Please go and visit that post if you are a fan of Dr. Seuss like I am. I have also placed a little mini youtube video at the bottom of the page, as I will do with this entry and all the next ones on Dr. Seuss, for you to experience the books.
I love, love, love this book. It is just excellent. Just with the previous, Fox in Socks, this book has to be experienced. That is precisely why I have decided to include a mini video. It is a book for the heart, the ears, and the eyes. The best trifecta.
The moral of this book is simple. How can you know if you like something if you don't give it a try. You can be cranky and upset all you like, but for all you know, that is just the item for your taste-buds. Of course, it wouldn't make such a strong impact, if it was just merely told as I did. Dr Seuss makes us enter into an alternate universe in which YOU are GUARANTEED to know, understand, and learn that MESSAGE entirely, without a doubt, that you MUST try something before you decided you COULD NOT, WOULD NOT, WANT!
So without rambling further, here is a perfect youtube video to portray the essence of this special Dr. Seuss book:
